So Long, So Low

My vacation ended about an hour ago when a woman I work with came by my table to say "hi" and when I saw she had a piece of our equipment still strapped to her waist I spoke out. It was a subtle shift into work mode and I'm actually kind of glad for it. Otherwise I might not have had a sense of finality, like the closure one needs on a relationship to be able to move on.

I've started playing a new game. I call it Endless Words. To play you must have a smart phone and have the app for Words With Friends. Start a game. Keep starting games until you always have a move to make. Repeat. You lose by giving up, deleting the app and living a real life, perhaps with a game of scrabble that requires the physical presence of another person and a board.

It's been a good week. I didn't do much, but I did what I wanted and was reasonably happy.

I got nothing. Going to watch Alcatraz tonight with a last meal of Arby's. Oh, and it's not actually the last day of my vacation. I just haven't been counting tomorrow since it's stage 2 of my tattoo and I know I'll be involved with that most of the day. Ink then pain. Glorious pain.
