A new name for my cat has been chosen: Augustus or Augie for short. There were several that came up along the way. Armchair, Microwave, Squirrel, Swampbait. That last one was Wash's favorite, and I tried to get used to it, but I just couldn't do it. After that it was back to considering "Presidential" names, which I've avoided. That got me around to George Washington's family which got me to Augustine (his father and brothers' name) which got me to Augustus. And I really like Augie, so it stuck. Augie!
eBay sales are going well. I got through a lot of it with some surprises. Currently I have some G.I. Joes up there and one auction for some Japanese Spider-Man figures that I'm not sure I want to sell so I put them up at $450. That's about twice as much as another auction, but my set includes the ultra-rare Spider-man 2099. Hell, the whole thing is rare so I just might get $450 for them. I had one guy send me this message saying thanks for letting him see that the rare 2099 figure exists. I figure if people are that hooked, I've got a good chance.
Wearing my red with white lightening bolt socks right now. Woosh. I bought some St. Patrick's day socks today. Argyle with shamrocks and then green and yellow striped. top of the morning to ye.
I went to meditation the other night for the first time and I enjoyed it very much. It's an insight meditation class, sort of, at Show Me Dharma. I'm going to try and figure how to go regularly; I'll have to get my schedule changed, but it's a pretty important thing to me.
