After putting some thought into it, I've developed a plan for getting a portable hard drive. By donating platelets several times over the next few months, I can generate Reward Zone money and pay for half or more of the cost of the hard drive. It would be dumb not to do it this way, so that's what I'll be doing.

Okay, so that's not really a plan as much as just smartness.

The week off is going well enough. Monday night I was going to go home to my parents to see them for a couple days, but when I got out on the highway I realized that the small problem I noticed when the car was idling, had crept up into highway speeds, so I turned around and came back. I called them on the phone and that coupled with getting halfway there almost felt like a visit.

And then I came home and watched The Abyss. Neat movie. I also watched Human Centipede and I have to say -- not as gross as I expected. Yes, the concept is disgusting, appalling, horrifying, but the execution, the movie itself, isn't that bad. The sequel, which I skimmed is more gross, but only because they did some new stuff to garner for outrage. Eliminate the unnecessary violence and it's the same movie with a few more links in the chain.

Today, I had some lasagna for lunch and vaccummed -- vacummed -- vaccumed -- vaccuummed -- vvadaccccsuaemed -- how the hell do you spell this word?! "Vacuumed". Oh. So, I vacuumed. And I figured out that the brush I use on the cats works well to remove hair from the couch, too.

I've been sleeping with the bedroom door open to foster communion with the kitties. It has it's ups and downs. Yes, I like the company, but, no, I do not like Khambat's incessant need for petting and Washington's tendency to lie on my back stops being cute when I want to move.

Selling stuff on eBay. I listed my copies of True Porn at $50 each and volume 1 just sold! That's awesome! I remember it was really hard to find, so I knew it would go for a good price. I was just worried about finding a buyer. Now, I'm going to list a bunch of toys. Oooh. My seller page is here, if anyone reading this wants to peruse. I don't know how much more I'll be listing past the toys. I've got a lot of books, but I'm not sure I'm interested in setting up that many auctions/buy it now's.

I may not be doing much like going anywhere, but it's still nice to have a week of living my life and not having to go to work at the same time.
