Tonight, I wrote a Zombie sex scene. I am a swirl of conflicting thoughts and feelings.
It's basically necrophilia. I mean, I don't know if sex between a vampire and a human is the same thing, I guess it is, but this is different at least in that a Zombie's body is decomposing. My story gets around this a bit. While it sounds gross, it's not as bad as you might imagine.
I don't want to go into too much detail, though, because this is partly what makes the book so awesome.
And, y'know what, that's all I'm going to say. I wrote a Zombie sex scene. I am so proud of myself.
"The dead will rise this summer in The Arctic Heart."
The excerpt:
Anna raises her arm and bluntly pushes against his neck, just managing to keep his teeth from sinking into her face. Rocking against him, she manages to roll him over and they land hard on the floor. She pushes off of him and stumbles to the opposite side of the room. He raises quickly to follow, but trips over his pants around his ankles, falling onto his face. She grabs her parka, wrapping it around her naked body, and runs through the door and out into the freezing cold.
Note: Somehow I have to make sure this scene is romantic upon revision ... I'm not trying for something ultra serious, but I'm seriously wondering, is this even possible?
